Notes on operating the motor

Our motor control unit is a battery-powered, radio-controlled motor. It only needs to be charged once a year. This means there is no need to drill or screw into the external roller blind, and no fixed power cable needs to be installed. Einbausituation

Das Außenrollo für Balkontüren und bodentiefe Fenster ist im Aufbau identisch – der Unterschied liegt lediglich im Bedienelement.

Bei Außenrollos für Balkontüren ist im Bedienelement ein Magnet integriert. Dieser ermöglicht das Öffnen des Behangs sowohl von innen als auch von außen.


Bei Außenrollos für bodentiefe Fenster ist ein Öffnen von außen in der Regel nicht erforderlich. Daher kommt hier das Standard-Bedienelement zum Einsatz, bei dem die Griffleiste ohne Magnet geklemmt wird.
Building regulations

For widths of 1300 mm or more, a maximum height of 1500 mm is possible.
Height

Our roller blinds are flexible in terms of height. Simply choose the appropriate range (e.g. 901–1400 mm). You can then adjust the exact height later during installation using the telescopic guide rails.
Slat colour

The colour of the slats is key to the appearance of the blind. The colours of the top rail, bottom rail, cords and plastic parts are matched to the slats. However, there may be slight variations.
Offset perforations

The openings for the cord and string are staggered so that they are concealed when the blind is closed, creating a cleaner look and providing better light blocking.

Product Details

The folded structure of a pleated blind is made possible by several tension cords. For these tension cords, punch holes must be incorporated into the pleated fabric, through which light passes. Therefore, normal pleated blinds are not available in a blackout version. If darkening is desired, a honeycomb pleated blind is recommended. This has a honeycomb-shaped fabric structure, so the punch holes are not visible from the inside. The number of tension cords depends on the pleated blind width and can be taken from the following table:

With clamp mounting, the pleated blind is attached to the window sash and sits in front of the window pane.

 

1. Measure width

  • Measure the width of the entire window sash including the frame.
    The pleated blind should not extend further than the window handle, so that the window can still be opened easily.

     -> This measurement corresponds to your order width.

 

2. Measure height

  • Measure the height of the entire window sash including the frame.

     -> This measurement corresponds to your order height.

Adhesive and Screw Mounting

For adhesive or screw mounting, the pleated blind is installed directly into the glass bead.

1. Measure Width

  • Measure the width of the glass bead from inner edge to inner edge.
  • Then, subtract 3 mm from this measurement.

->The result is your order width.

2. Measure Height

  • Measure the height of the glass bead from inner edge to inner edge.

-> This measurement corresponds to your order height.

3. Check Glass Bead Depth

  • The glass bead must be at least 15 mm deep, so that the pleated blind can be mounted.
